Job Description
Trending Up Strategy is seeking a salesperson to help hit its aggressive sales goals. In this role, you will be responsible for selling marketing and sales retainers, selling Hubspot SAAS marketing and sales software, and small business website packages as we work to become the leading marketing and sales automation company in the manufacturing industry.
As a Salesperson, you will identify sales opportunities in the manufacturing industry. You will be responsible for outbound business development and deal flow and will be expected to close at least 1+ core account(s) each month.
This role will work directly with the management team and client services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Attract, nurture, sell, and close the sale of at least 3 new retainer clients per quarter in the pro or larger retainer size
- Speak at events and host online seminars educating clients and prospects about our services
- Work with the marketing team to develop sales enablement collateral on expertise-based marketing in the manufacturing industry
- Work with the team to ensure company goals and team growth goals are met
- Use Hubspot marketing and sales software to keep your performance and funnel organized
- Become an expert in expertise-based marketing and complex widget/process manufacturers to best understand and serve our customers and prospects
- Spearhead the business development for expertise-based marketing & sales automation
- Serve as a mentor to Sales Assistants to help them grow in their sales careers:
- Maximize HubSpot’s sales tools for Trending Up Strategy
- Create processes for HubSpot sales tools
- Weekly team meetings
Required Experience/Skills
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and sales
- Experience in marketing, automation, and CRM software such as Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.
- Ability to form relationships across the organization – particularly with account managers, marketing coordinators, and creative team
- Positive, persuasive communicator
- Good listener
- Great follow-up
- Generally excited and enthusiastic about marketing, sales, and working with clients
- Problem solver
- Ability to work from home productively
Preferred Skills
- Interest in the manufacturing industry
- Experience with Hubspot Software and certifications such as Hubspot Sales Certification, Hubspot Inbound Certification
Education
- High School Diploma and some further education
