Happy Thanksgiving from Trending Up's Team to Yours

I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving! From us here at Trending Up, we’d just like to take a moment to share what makes us most thankful this year, from friends, to family, to our clients! Here are some from some of our team:

Ben says:
I am thankful for my family and that I am able to spend more time with them now than I ever have.

Jenna says:
jenna_family_photo.jpgMy family and friends are the greatest blessing of all.  I have a great relationship with my parents.  I go trap shooting with my dad every week and love to talk with my mom about everything from work to chocolate (: we cook quite a bit together.  I am so thankful that my sister (Laura) and her boyfriend (Abe) have created a life together that includes me! Their place has always been a home away from home when I live in MN.

My grandpa passed away this year and that man was one-of-a-kind. He was my greatest inspiration for love and helped me define that word as I have grown.  He loved his dark german beer and old fashions, and I see bits of him in all of my family members. His legacy lives on through his children, grandchild and great grandchildren who all love him very, very much.

Jenna_conner_nephew-square.jpgI became an aunt in October and it is truly the coolest thing!  I love watching the bond between my sister (Beth), her husband (Pat) and their new obsession (mine as well), Connor.  He makes the normal hustle and bustle seem very minor, it slows me down and allows me to appreciate and experience moments on a greater scale.  I can't wait to watch him grow up!

I am blessed to have a very wonderful boyfriend.  I am a firecracker so his ability to stay patient still boggles my mind.  We love to travel together; we have been to Ireland, Amsterdam, Colorado, Texas, Jamaica and more, but we both find our peace/serenity when we are outdoors. We love to fish and ski/snowboard, snowmobile and try new things like jumping out of planes.  Whatever it is I am doing, doing it with him makes life much more adventurous and exhilarating. We are excited for 2017! jenna_kaleb_beers.jpg

I graduated from college with the best girlfriends possible.  They made life much more bright for me and continue to inspire me all the time.  I mostly miss living in a house with all of them, learning what life is about and how to live on our own... like how to use a turkey baster or what to do when a gas leak takes place. It’s been quite an adventure the last four years!

Finally, I am beyond thankful to wake up everyday and work at Trending Up.  It has become my greatest passion and is allowing me to help small business USA grow and become successful.  I love helping my clients and prospects, and I love my team.  I love the innovation and passion we bring to the table and feel blessed to have an opportunity to make a difference in my community!

Brian says:

I have plenty to be thankful for this year. I have a smokin' hot wife and two amazing kids. My two-year-old, juice addict of a daughter is the perfect mix of hilarious and sweet, and my two-month-old son... well, he poops, eats and sleeps REALLY well. We are surrounded by caring family and recently moved to an area outside of the city that most would refer to as "the sticks". But, I love the open space and the views - "panorama"... there is so much panorama that you just don't see in a place where the houses are right on top of each other. I'm sure my wife is already sick of me saying, "just look at the clouds!"

Also, I am incredibly thankful for my job. In fact, since I've started, I don't think a day has gone by where I haven't thought about how lucky I am to be able to do what I am doing with the convenience of being able to work from home. To finish off the list, without expanding on each: ice cream, gym shorts, mechanical pencils, tacos, people with good manners, fantasy football, the Die Hard movies, being tall, Steve Martin, videos of people scaring other people, cold beer, and new socks.

Bruce adds:
This year, I’m especially thankful for:

  • My daughter’s wedding in August; it was magnificent
  • My wife and I celebrating 40 years of marriage in November; hasn’t always been perfect, but it’s been so worth the effort
  • Professionally rewarding work spanning several organizations, and creative, talented colleagues everywhere; and, it gets better every day
  • The Cubs; nothing additional need be said

alicia_andrew_disneyland-square.jpgPersonally, I’m thankful for some milestone moments over the past year: my husband’s and my five-year anniversary, the birth of my first nephew, and my sister and brother-in-law moving closer to me. This year was full of traveling: California this summer to visit my Grammie, stay with one of my best friends, and visit Disneyland for the first time; multiple trips to the East Coast to see my Disney besties; local trips to Minneapolis and Chicago for time with friends and family; and more planned for next year!

husband_and_dogs.jpgI started at Jül at the beginning of this year and I can’t say enough what a blessing it’s been. I love our team! And I love our clients; I appreciate each of them for the knowledge they’ve taught.

Other things that I love about this year: a new Gilmore Girls season after almost ten years (viewing party, anyone?), hosting my family for a week when my nephew was born, learning that I really like weight lifting, getting to read over 25 books so far this year, and tea. I'm so beyond thankful for my supportive and fabulous husband, two totes adorbs puppies, wonderful parents and parents-in-law, the best sister/best friend a girl could ask for.

Have a great rest of 2016, everyone!
